ICMC has prepared programming for the month of Ramadan.
In Ramadan, Hafiz Karim Razzouk from Montreal, Canada, will lead 20 rakat tarawih salah. We expect Khatmul Qur’an on the night of 29th Ramadan InshaAllah.
Hafiz Karim Razzouk completed hifdh of Quran in 2018 from an Islamic Institute in Canada. He performed daily imamat and teaching in Montreal and then travelled to Mauritania to work on revision and tajweed for two years. He led tahajjud in Ramadan in Mauritania in 2022 and Taraweeh and Tahajjud in 2023. He is fluent in English, Arabic and French and his family is originally from Morroco.
Everyday Imam Sa’ad Palwala will have Qur’an tafseer for 15 minutes, followed by du’a before Maghrib. Plan on joining the program around half hour to 20 minutes before Maghrib.
Imam Sa’ad Palwala will provide daily hadith reminders during tarawih salah break after 8 rakah .
InshaAllah this year we will be catering for Saturday Iftars and Dinners. We believe that this minimizes the burden of cooking for such a large gathering and allow us to focus on Ibadah and devotion to Allah (swt) as much as we can .
