AFTER SCHOOL MAKTAB
ICMC After-School Maktab Program is committed to teach students the recitation of the Qur’an with tajwīd and instill within them the central and essential teachings of Islam which are obligatory on every Muslim to learn. This program is geared towards each and every Muslim boys and girls of our community. It is an ideal opportunity for school-going children to learn the recitation of the Qur’an, gain an Islamic education, and learn Islamic values and morals in a conducive environment.

We group our students, 4 years plus, according to their grade on regular school unless their are any special requests.
We provide instruction in 2 subjects:
1. Islamic studies in which we use the Iqra Wise currriculum according to grade level
2. Quran in which we assess our students in person and then decide which level will best fit their needs. We have learning the Arabic alphabet, learning from Noorani Quaida, Quran made easy to read Quran and then memorizing Surahs.
